When you can no longer eat grain, you’ve gotta get creative.
My wonderful mother has tested and tweaked various recipes like a mad scientist, so that I don’t feel left out in a world full of grain grazers. The tastes are acquired (my boyfriend tried this the other day and looked as if he was chewing on clag glue) but when you’ve got no other options you’ll be amazed at the new ingredients and food combination you try and also begin to enjoy!
This is delish with butter and jam!
2.5 cups blanched almond flour
1 cup coconut flour
1/2 tsp iodised sea salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup grape seed oil
1 tbsp agave nectar/ honey/coconut syrup
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Combine wet ingredients into dry. Bake for 45-55mins at 300 degrees Celsius
